Police say a raid on storage facilities northwest of Toronto has netted roughly $800,000 in stolen liquor.

York Regional Police say Tuesday's search in Brampton followed three months of investigation into the sale of stolen booze to businesses and homes in the Toronto area.

They say officers recovered some 2,500 cases containing a variety of liquor.

Three men and a woman from British Columbia are facing multiple charges, including trafficking in property obtained by crime and participation in a criminal organization.
