The drunken-driving case of city councillor Ana Bailão was put over to next month Monday morning after her lawyer, Peter Thorning, told the court he was still awaiting full disclosure from the Crown.
Ms. Bailão did not appear for the brief hearing.
Her next court date at Old City Hall was set for Jan. 15.
Ms. Bailão, 36, was stopped by police in the early hours of Oct. 15 as she drove home from the Mayor's Ball for the Arts at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Charged with impaired driving and driving with an alcohol level exceeding .08 milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood, she later called the incident "regrettable" but announced that she planned to plead not guilty.
Ms. Bailão is serving her first term as city councillor for the Davenport constituency.
