A 30-year-old Toronto man is facing arson charges in connection with several car fires in the city's northwest.

It's alleged that several cars and some discarded household furniture were intentionally set on fire in incidents early this month and on Sunday (in the areas of Jane Street and Wilson Avenue and Jane Street and Lawrence Avenue West).

No one was injured in any of the fires, but police have said there was extensive damage to property.
