Four people have been injured in three separate shooting incidents in Toronto.

Police say a man was taken to hospital after being shot in the abdomen in the east end just before 4 a.m.

Another man has life-threatening injuries after being shot in the head in northwest Toronto on Friday night.

In the third incident, police say there was an exchange of gunfire in the west end around 11:30 p.m. Two victims were located in a car that was covered in bullet holes.

Their injuries are non-life threatening.

The shootings follow a week in which two people were killed and more than 20 injured during gunfire at a street party Monday, a man was gunned down near a soccer field Tuesday night and another man was shot and killed Thursday at a school yard.
