Following last week's Republican convention, it's the Democrats turn. First Lady Michelle Obama kicks things off Tuesday night in Charlotte, N.C., where nearly 6,000 delegates and thousands more supporters and party officials are in attendance. The Globe is live-Tweeting the event.
