U.S. President Barack Obama and Vice-president Joe Biden are set to give big speeches Thursday night at the Democratic National Convention, accepting their party's nominations for the November election. The Globe's Affan Chowdhry and Adam Radwanski are in Charlotte, N.C., and will live blog the speeches starting at 9:30 p.m. ET.
