U.S. Senate hearing on Kagan to start June 28

The U.S. Senate confirmation hearing for President Barack Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan, will begin on June 28, Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy said on Wednesday.

Mr. Leahy made the announcement at the start of a hearing. Ms. Kagan's hearing is expected to last about a week.
