LISTING AGENT Robin Pope, Pope Real Estate Ltd.

The Action: Along the south side of Sumach-Shuter Parkette is a row of townhouses, including this more than century-old property on a 16-by-66-foot lot. Waiving the potential exposure of an open house, the sellers still reeled in 12 requests for showings and a viable offer by the second week of marketing.

What They Got: Professional stagers spent the past few years personalizing this 1,146-square-foot residence with top-of-the-line features, from custom screens framing the foyer and staircase off the open living and dining area to a Scavolini kitchen with Caesarstone counters, glass tile backsplashes and double doors to a deck and patio.

The basement was left unfinished, but the second floor was reconfigured so it has one bedroom, an open den with a deck and an enlarged bathroom, which is the larger of two with updated vanities and mosaic wall and floor tiles.

The Agent's Take: "In Corktown, there are four or five cute streets where the houses sit right on the sidewalk, so there's no front yard … so it feels like walking down Coronation Street," agent Robin Pope says. "The home was very modern and contemporary inside."

Both its figure and form were altered positively. "It was completely renovated, from top to bottom, so the second bedroom [the sellers] made open concept, so it was lovely for a single person or a couple," Mr. Pope states.

"What was the third bedroom was made into a bathroom, so it was quite a large bathroom with a double shower."
