Hardwood floors give a classic look to the living and dining areas.

This spring, many properties changed ownership just north of Danforth Village, including this semi-detached house with a front parking pad. It was acquired for $841,000 by one of five buyers who penned bids in late April.

“We had 53 showings and the open houses were very busy,” agent Megan Till-Landry said.

“It is not uncommon for homes in the area to receive multiple bids. However, this was a particularly strong sale.”

What they got

The second level has three bedrooms with hardwood floors.

Within the past few years, two bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen and a lower-level recreation room were remodelled to give new life to this nearly century-old house on a dead-end street.

Hardwood floors give a classic look to the living and dining areas, as well as three bedrooms on the second floor. Tile flooring grounds nearly all other areas, including a sunroom that exits to a south-facing deck and stone patio on the 18-by-103-foot lot.

The backyard has a south-facing deck and stone patio.

“The fact that the home had it all was unusual,” Ms. Till-Landry said. “It has a great location and is well renovated with spacious rooms, a gorgeous backyard and parking.”
