Don't be afraid to disagree

Tech Tip: Unplugging USB flash drives
· If you unplug a USB flash drive while the computer is writing files to it or reading it you could corrupt files. If you want to remove USB drives on Windows 7 by just unplugging them rather than first clicking on the Safely Remove Hardware icon, plug a drive into the computer and open device manager. Expand Disk Drives, and then find the entry for your removable drive. Right click on that entry, click Properties, and then select Quick Removal default. PCWorld.com
