The Canadian Auto Workers union says it has a tentative contract for striking workers at the Lear Whitby manufacturing plant, which makes seating for General Motors vehicles assembled in Oshawa, Ont.

About 400 workers represented by CAW Local 222 at Lear Whitby went on strike during the weekend.
