On Boxing Day, the big electronic chain stores are great for getting what you know you want, and for good deals on extras that you may not have otherwise considered.

Canadians may soon be seeing smaller versions of traditional big-box stores when they head to the mall, as retailers who have already saturated suburban outlets try to capitalize on a new type of customer: the urban shopper. Will this trend catch on? Can big-box retailers provide the convenience and service discerning urban shoppers are looking for?
