Bank of Canada Governor Mark CarneySean Kilpatrick

Sébastien Lavoie, Assistant Chief Economist, Laurentian Bank Securities took questions on interest rates and the economy.

Sébastien Lavoie holds a Master's degree in Economics from Université Laval and joined Laurentian Bank Securities in 2006. Sébastien previously occupied various positions within the financial sector. He began his career in 2000 as an Economist for the Bank of Canada in Ottawa. Sébastien is the author of publications about the Canadian and provincial economies, monetary policy, the housing market, as well as other subjects of current interest.
