Electric-vehicle sales drive up lithium demand

The demand for lithium, one of the metals used in creating lithium-ion batteries, is increasing. Getting enough mines running to meet the increased demand will require fast-tracking. There are plans to add 20 sites to the 16 sites operating worldwide currently.
