Just in time for summer, gas prices are on the rise. The national average price for regular unleaded gasoline has risen 28.5 per cent since early January, to 122.1 cents per litre, according to the latest survey from MJ Ervin & Associates. In a note last week, BMO Nesbitt Burns chief economist Douglas Porter said "the jump in gasoline has gone way beyond the move in crude."
