Canadians are big fans of U.S. President Barack Obama, but show much less support for the proposed Keystone XL pipeline, according to a new survey from the Pew Research Center. Forty-eight per cent of Canadians oppose the cross-border pipeline, compared with 42 per cent who are in favour. Meanwhile, 59 per cent of Americans are in favour of Keystone XL, versus 31 per cent who are opposed to building it. On Mr. Obama, just over three quarters of Canadians have confidence in the U.S. President "to handle international affairs," the survey said.
