Toronto advertising firm Taxi 2 has launched an online Movember encouraging men to participate in the campaign

Ah, Movember . An unquestionably worthy cause that leads to such questionable facial hair choices.

The annual charity drive raises money to fight prostate cancer and support male mental health initiatives, from individual fundraisers who pledge to grow a 'stache. Some men find a retro dignity they never realized they had; far too many end up with a villainous Snidely Whiplash look, or worse, they just look kind of creepy. Consider it a marketing problem for your face.

Toronto advertising firm Taxi 2 has launched an online ad for the cause addressing that very problem – as a way to encourage men to participate, and others to support them with donations.

A character, David, fetches his newspaper without pants on, stands too close to people on the escalator, and makes lewd gestures to strangers. He then suggests that others find him off-putting because of his moustache.

The slogan on the spot is, "A moustache doesn't make you creepy. Being creepy makes you creepy."
