A China Express CRJ900 NextGen aircraft.HANDOUT/The Canadian Press

Bombardier Inc. says it signed $3.27-billion in firm orders and other commitments at this year's Farnborough International Airshow, which concluded Friday.

The Montreal-based company said it signed deals for up to a total of 52 aircraft with China Express Airlines, airBaltic, Jazz Aviation and an undisclosed customer during the show.

That brings the year-to-date total at Bombardier commercial aircraft to 154 firm and conditional orders.

Among the deals, Latvia-based airBaltic signed a letter of intent to buy 10 CSeries 300 aircraft and take purchase rights on a further 10 jets, while China Express Airlines confirmed an order for six CRJ900 NextGen regional jets and options on five more.

Chorus Aviation Inc., which operates regional flights for Air Canada, ordered six Q400 NextGen tuboprop aircraft and an unidentified customer placed a conditional order for five CS100 and 10 CS300 jetliners.
