Prior to that, he worked as vice-president of corporate affairs and communications at Standard Life Canada. He has also held jobs at National Bank of Canada and the Securities Commission of Québec.

Education: He studied law at the University of Ottawa. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
