Canada's venture capital system is about to get a $400-million facelift. Federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty is awaiting a report on how to fix the problematic financing regime that Canadian start-ups rely on to help fund their growth.

Can Ottawa pull it off this time and help propel Canadian start-ups into high-growth companies?

Earlier, Report on Business reporter Sean Silcoff explored this question with a panel of entrepreneurs and experts from the venture capital industry.
