We've all been in a situation where we stumble upon something on the Internet, are instantly intrigued, but don't have the time to dig in. And we certainly all know what it's like to forget something - whether it's the name that amazing Indian restaurant you went to four months ago or your brother-in-law's address.
The stream of data flowing through our brains can be overwhelming at times, but there may be a solution...and it's called Evernote. The software like a repository to help us remember by saving things in one place. It's already reached cult status in Tokyo and was recently named Company of the Year by Inc.com..
Phil Libin, who founded the company in 2007, describes it as "your brain offloaded to a server. It's Google for the Web of your life. It's a spotlight on the dark matter of your universe. It's a tool for converting your smartphone from a time killer to a time saver."

Drop out, strike it rich
Lately it seems that to hit the big times, you need to drop out of an Ivy League school (at least that's how the thinking goes). But according to this article from the HuffPost, the entrepreneurial superstars who strike it rich are the exception, and academic research shows that survival prospects are higher if the owner has at least four years of college.
Writer Mark Twilling offers some helpful advice to those considering taking the entrepreneurship path, but also happy to hit the books:
- Study entrepreneurship, but major in something else.
- An MBA is helpful, but not required
- Supplement course work with practical experience
- Take advantage of inside and outside advisers at school
- Build a business plan early on
- Business networking is key
- Just do it
