The Plus Sign beside headlines and stock quotes is a powerful little tool for readers and subscribers. Here is why:
1. It quickly allows you to add a stock to your Watchlist: Click on the Plus Sign and then click Add to Watchlist. If you've clicked on a Plus Sign beside a headline, a list of the stock tickers in the story appears and you can choose which tickers you'd like to add to the lists in your Watchlist. If you've clicked on a Plus Sign beside a stock quote, you can directly add that ticker to a list in your Watchlist. For more on Watchlist tutorials, go to tgam.ca/globeinvestor-tips.
2. Save for Later: Subscribers to Globe Unlimited can save a story for later in their Dashboards. You can then go back and read that story when you log into your Globe Unlimited account from any computer. For more on what the Dashboard is and how to use it, go to tgam.ca/globe-dashboard.
3. Follow a company: Thousands of our readers follow dozens of stocks in their Watchlist. If you are a Globe Unlimited subscriber, you can also select stocks to follow in your Dashboard. While your Watchlist is a great place to track dozens of stocks, the Dashboard is a good place to also follow a select few that are especially important to you.
