The Conservative government and the Big Three telecom players are waging a public relations battle over a decision to allow U.S. giant Verizon Communications Inc. to potentially enter the Canadian wireless market. Rogers Communications Inc., BCE Inc. and Telus Corp. say the decision gives Verizon an unfair advantage by letting the company bid on two blocks of "prime" wireless spectrum while incumbents are limited to one.
