Auxly completes 2.0 agreements with nine provinces

Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. said today it has entered into an agreement with every province - except Quebec - to begin sales of cannabis 2.0 products (extracts, edibles and topicals), and has secured in excess of 250 listings in the aggregate for its vape, chocolate and chewable products across nine provinces. The company says it will be ready to sell vapes, chocolates and chewables beginning Dec. 16. The company’s launch of 2.0 derivative products will be sold under the Kolab, Foray and Dosecann brands. Auxly said it anticipates launching tablet, capsule and lozenge formats beginning the first half of 2020 and topical formats in Q3 of 2020.

Dixie Brands subsidiary secures U.S. patent

Dixie Brands Inc. said Thursday that the United States Patent and Trademark Office will issue its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aceso Wellness, LLC, a patent for a range of formats providing for the delivery of cannabinoids, along with nutrients, in effervescent powder and/or aqueous liquid forms. The patent application, entitled ‘Cannabinoid Emulsion Product and Process for Making the Same’, encompasses a broad set of popular formats and formulations that provide for various nutraceutical compositions including cannabinoids, supplements and vitamins.
