Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Jack Morris is returning to the organization as a television analyst.
Sportsnet announced Tuesday that Morris will provide analysis on its radio broadcasts, website, as well as make appearances on game telecasts and the show "Blue Jays Central."
Morris was a member of the Jays during both their World Series titles in 1992 and 1993. The right-hander, best known for his forkball, was the club's first 20-game winner (21 wins) in helping Toronto to its first of back-to-back championships.
The 57-year-old retired in 1995 and has spent time as a colour analyst for the Minnesota Twins and as well as a guest on Detroit Tigers broadcasts.
"I'm thrilled to be joining the Sportsnet team and to be returning to Canada," Morris said in a statement. "I've had a lot of great experiences here and am looking forward to this next chapter.
"This has been one of the most exciting off-seasons that Blue Jays fans have ever seen, and I'm honoured to have the opportunity to be covering this amazing team for the next three years."
