The Toronto Blue Jays had their third pitcher be forced from a start by injury this week when right-hander Drew Hutchison left Friday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies during the first inning.

Hutchison had retired two batters with nine pitches when he left the game with a sore right elbow after a visit from manager John Farrell and a trainer.

Left-hander Aaron Laffey took his place.

Right-hander Brandon Morrow left Monday's start with a strained left oblique muscle and has been placed on the 15-day disabled list.

Righty Kyle Drabek left Wednesday's start after feeling a popping sensation in his right elbow in the fifth inning and has been put on the 15-day disabled list with possible tear in his ulnar collateral ligament.
