Pitchers Chad Jenkins and Chien-Ming Wang are rejoining the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday after stints in the minor leagues.

Jenkins was recalled from double-A New Hampshire, while Wang's contract was selected from triple-A Buffalo in time to start Saturday night's game in Houston.

Toronto transferred infielder Maicer Izturis to the 60-day disabled list with a sprained left ankle to make room on its 40-man roster.

The right-handed Jenkins, 25, has posted a 1.20 earned-run average in four games, three starts with New Hampshire this season without a decision. He has a combined minor league record of 0-3 with a 4.54 earned-run average in 11 games, 10 starts while pitching for Buffalo, New Hampshire and the Gulf Coast Blue Jays.

Jenkins has a 1-0 record with a 3.60 ERA in three starts for Toronto this season.

The right-handed Wang, 33, has posted a 4-4 record in nine starts with a 2.33 ERA for Buffalo. He's made five starts for Toronto this season posting a 1-1 record with a 7.13 ERA.
