Montreal Alouettes quarterback Anthony Calvillo was among three players fined by the CFL on Wednesday.

Calvillo was penalized for attempting to trip an opponent on an interception return during Friday's 38-25 win over the Edmonton Eskimos.

Toronto Argonaut linebackers Brandon Isaac and Marcus Ball were also fined for separate dangerous and unnecessary illegal hits away from the play on Calgary Stampeders running back Jon Cornish during Saturday's game.

As per CFL policy, the amounts of the fines were not disclosed.
