The Toronto Argonauts traded offensive lineman Marc Parenteau to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for running back Anthony Woodson on Monday.

The deal involving the two Canadian players also includes a swap of draft picks, with Toronto sending its third-round selection in 2014 to Winnipeg for the Blue Bombers' fifth-round pick.

Woodson was drafted in the fourth round of the 2010 CFL draft by Winnipeg. In 11 career games, the 25-year-old Calgary native has five special teams tackles.

Woodson had a stellar university career with the Calgary Dinos. He rushed for 1,183 yards in 2007, the second-most in school history.

Parenteau signed with Toronto before the 2012 campaign, playing in 23 regular-season games, two playoff games and last year's Grey Cup. The 32-year-old from Sherbrooke, Que., also spent five seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders after starting his career with Winnipeg.
