Veteran kicker Paul McCallum was re-signed on Thursday by the B.C. Lions.

McCallum was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in 2011 after making 30 consecutive field goals with a 94.3 per cent success rate overall.

"Paul has been one of our most consistent and dependable players since coming here in 2006," vice-president of football operations and general manager Wally Buono said in a statement. "He has been one of the very best at his position and this is a very important signing for the club."
