Ricky Ray is back in the Toronto Argonauts lineup.
Head coach Scott Milanovich said Thursday that Ray will dress and be the Argos' third quarterback when they face the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday night.
Ray, 33, has been out since suffering a shoulder injury in a 35-14 home loss the Calgary Stampeders on Aug. 23.
Sophomore Zach Collaros will make his sixth straight start for Toronto, but Milanovich said if Ray had to play Friday he's healthy enough to step in.
Overall, Milanovich said Ray's arm strength is at about "85 per cent."
Toronto (9-4) can clinch a home playoff date with a win over Hamilton (6-7) and comes into the game having won all four games of a four-game road trip.
The Argos are at Rogers Centre for the first time since a 20-9 loss to Montreal on Sept. 3, their first game after Ray was hurt.
