Brooke Henderson is going to get her fill of Oreo cookies next month as she is headed back to the LPGA Tour.

Henderson, along with eight other top female amateurs, has been invited to play in the LPGA's first major of the year, the Kraft Nabisco Championship at Mission Hills Country Club in California from April 3-6.

The tournament is best known for winner's making the jump into Poppies Pond and its ample supply of Oreo cookies, thanks to the title sponsor.

It will be the 16-year-old's second LPGA major having qualified for last year's Women's U.S. Open, where she went on to finish in a tie for 59th.

Currently the sixth ranked amateur in the world, the Smiths Falls, Ont. golfer is coming off a solid 2013 campaign which saw her win the Canadian Women's Amateur, South American Amateur, South Atlantic Amateur and Junior Orange Bowl titles. Aside from the U.S. Open, Henderson also competed in two other LPGA events last year – the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic and Canadian Women's Open.

Henderson has verbally committed to playing at the Univeristy of Florida when she graduates high school.

Reigning U.S. Women's Amateur Champion Emma Talley is among the other nine players invited along with world number one ranked Minjee Lee of Australia, Alison Lee, Annie Park, Su Hyun Oh, Ashlan Ramsey, Angel Yin and Nelly Korda, whose sister is rising LPGA star Jessica Korda. A 10th amateur, Stanford's Mariah Stackhouse, declined her invitation as the Cardinal are scheduled to play in a university tournament the same weekend.
