Equipment: Cleveland Golf Smart Square Putter

Cleveland Golf Smart Square putter

Cleveland Golf has introduced its Smart Square Putter which incorporates alignment technology they claim is 23-percent more accurate than any other alignment methods.

The key to the Smart Square is the Dual Axis Alignment - two squares on the top of the putter which create parallel lines that frame the ball at address and provide a clear visual path to the hole. The two perpendicular lines created by the squares also easily show when you're misaligned.

The face is made from a copolymer face insert that promotes consistent roll, and enhances feel and sound at impact. The high MOI design also minimizes distance loss on off-center hits.

There are three length heel- and center-shafted versions available (33-, 34- and 35-inches) and one Almost Belly model (39-inches). The Almost Belly model features a heavier putter head and grip, creating a counter-balance weight for stroke stability and consistency without anchoring.

The putters are available as of November 15 with a suggested retail price of $139.99 US for the standard model and $179.99 US for the Almost Belly model.
