Dany Heatley has asked Ottawa Senators general manager Bryan Murray to trade him.Bill Grimshaw

Ottawa Senators winger Dany Heatley refused to waive his no-movement clause late Tuesday night, killing a move to the Oilers, according to TSN.ca.

The former 50-goal scorer, who has played the last four seasons in Canada's capital, was all set to be sent to Edmonton in exchange for forwards Andrew Cogliano and Dustin Penner, and defenceman Ladislav Smid.

Now the onus is back on Senators general manager Bryan Murray to find a suitable trade partner for the winger who has asked for a trade.
