Announced attendance for Thursday night's game at Arena between the Phoenix Coyotes and St. Louis Blues, down significantly from the 17,512 that Phoenix drew for last Saturday's home opener, when ticket prices were heavily discounted.

In their 83-year history, the number of times the Chicago Blackhawks had overcome a five-goal first-period deficit to win a game. The Blackhawks finally turned the trick last Monday, scoring six unanswered goals, including Brent Seabrook's overtime winner, to defeat the Calgary Flames 6-5.


Number of goals scored by Nashville in its first six games, a primary reason why the Predators were jockeying with the Detroit Red Wings for last place in the Central Division.
