Senators at Jets

There is no shortage of games this week with playoff implications. Winnipeg is not exactly seizing the moment and needs a win to stay close to the Washington Capitals. Monday, 8:30 p.m., Sportsnet East, TVA, TSN-Jets.

Stars at Flames

Calgary is staggering at the worst possible time this season. The Flames fell flat in Dallas last Saturday and need to win the rematch at home to have even a hope of making the playoffs. Monday, 9 p.m., Sportsnet West.

Avalanche at Sharks

The only thing that will really help the Flames is if both teams lose this game. But that's the problem if you let too many teams get between you and the last playoff spot. If you're a Flames fan, it's an excuse to hit the sports bar. Monday, 10:30 p.m., CSN-California.

Sharks at Coyotes

This is part of the great five-team fight for the last two playoff spots in the Western Conference. Thursday, 10 p.m., NHL Network – Canada.

Avalanche at Flames

Colorado and Calgary are another two of those five teams, although the Flames could be lagging badly by the time this game is played. Friday, 9 p.m., Sportsnet Calgary.
