The Vancouver Canucks have plenty of openings to sort out on their second and fourth lines, and that much is evident when you look at the rosters they will dress for Tuesday's split-squad games against the Calgary Flames.

The Sedin twins, Alex Burrows, Chris Higgins, Jannik Hansen, Mikael Samuelsson and Maxim Lapierre won't dress for either Canucks squad. Neither will Vancouver's top four defencemen -- Alexander Edler, Dan Hamhuis, Kevin Bieksa and Sami Salo -- nor goaltender Roberto Luongo.

For the game in Vancouver, the most interesting roster note is that Andrew Ebbett will centre a line with Marco Sturm and Owen Nolan. Sturm is vying for a job on the second line, while Ebbett and Nolan are battling for jobs, with outside chances to skate on the second line while Ryan Kesler (hip) and Mason Raymond (back) heal.

For the game in Calgary, Victor Oreskovich and Mike Duco will flank centre Cody Hodgson. Both wingers are fighting for jobs on the fourth line, as are Mark Mancari and Todd Fedoruk, both of whom will play in Calgary.

In Vancouver, Aaron Volpatti and Steve Pinizzotto, a 27-year-old journeyman who has caught head coach Alain Vigneault's eye, are listed as left wingers. They are also vying for fourth-line gigs.

Cory Schneider will start in goal for the game in Vancouver, while veteran Manny Legace, who is in camp on a professional tryout, will start in Calgary.
