The Winnipeg Jets placed goaltender Chris Mason on the injured reserve list Thursday and recalled defencemen Brett Festerling and Mark Flood from the St. John's IceCaps.

Mason is out with a lower-body injury. He has a 1-2-0 record this season with a 2.68 goals-against average and .893 save percentage.

The move is retroactive to Oct. 27.

Festerling has four points (one goal, three assists) in 11 games with the IceCaps this season. Flood has seven points (1-6) in 11 games with the American Hockey League club.
