Steven Stamkos scored in the fifth round of the shootout and the Tampa Bay Lightning rebounded after blowing a three-goal lead to beat the Winnipeg Jets 6-5 on Thursday night.

The Lightning won the shootout 2-1.

Tampa Bay got regulation goals from Stamkos, Victor Hedman, Jonathan Marchessault, Alex Killorn and Nikita Kucherov.

Andrew Ladd had two goals for the Jets, who trailed 4-1 early in the third. Tyler Myers, Mark Scheifele and Mathieu Perreault had the other Winnipeg goals.

Winnipeg's Bryan Little was hurt late in the second period and needed assistance off the ice before heading to the locker room. It appeared Hedman made contact in the neutral zone with Little, who looked like he lost his balance and lowered his head before getting hit by Anton Stralman.

There was no other information immediately available about Little, who didn't return.
