Nova Scotia won its third game in a row to open the Canadian men's curling championship Sunday.



Jamie Murphy's team from Halifax defeated B.C.'s Jim Cotter 5-3 to get to 3-0.



Alberta's Kevin Koe and Northern Ontario's Brad Jacobs are both 2-0. Koe beat New Brunswick 9-4, while Jacobs edged Prince Edward Island 8-7 in an extra end.

After opening with a loss, Manitoba's 8-7 victory over Brad Gushue of Newfoundland and Labrador is the second in a row for Rob Fowler's team from Brandon.
