Serena Williams was named the top seed at the Rogers Cup women's tournament during the draw Saturday.

Williams' seeding was no surprise. The top-ranked player in the world won the French Open earlier this year and will be playing for her third career title at Rexall Centre in Toronto.

Australian Open winner Victoria Azarenka is the No. 2 seed followed by Agnieszka Radwanska.
