Teemu Selanne is among 16 NHLers named to Finland's Olympic hockey team on Tuesday.

The 43-year-old will compete in his record-tying sixth Olympic games, matching the mark held by fellow countryman Raimo Helminen.

Boston's Tuukka Rask will be the anchor in goal along with Kari Lehtonen of the Dallas Stars and Antti Niemi of the San Jose Sharks. Pekka Rinne, a former Vezina Trophy nominee, was left off the squad. He hasn't played since Oct. 22nd after suffering a hip infection.

Penguins rookie Olli Maatta is one of four NHL players who make up the defence alongwith Tampa Bay's Sami Salo, Philadelphia's Kimmo Timonen and Sami Vatanen of Anaheim.

Minnesota Wild forward Mikko Koivu was named as one of the team's forwards but is currently nursing an ankle injury that will keep him sidelined at least four weeks. He may have to be replaced before the men's tournament begins on February 12th.

Veteran Saku Koivu reportedly withdrew his name from consideration for the team in the days leading up to the final roster announcement.
