Former Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Justin Pogge has been promoted to the Anaheim Ducks from their East Coast Hockey League affiliate.


The Anaheim Ducks recalled goaltender Justin Pogge from the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL on Wednesday.

Pogge, 23, went 1-0-0 with a 0.75 goals-against average and .950 save percentage in two games for Bakersfield.

The native of Fort McMurray, Alta., made his NHL debut with Toronto last season, going 1-4-1 record with a 4.36 GAA and .844 save percentage in seven appearances.

He spent most of the season with the AHL's Toronto Marlies, going 26-21-5 with a 2.70 GAA and .895 save percentage in 53 appearances.
