Major League Soccer on Tuesday suspended Montreal Impact defender Hassoun Camara one additional game and fined him an undisclosed amount for his violent conduct against San Jose Earthquakes forward Steven Lenhart in the 19th minute of their game on Saturday.

The referee issued a red card to Camara, so he will be suspended a total of two games.

Earthquakes defender Victor Bernardez received a one-game suspension and was fined for endangering the safety of Montreal midfielder Lamar Neagle in the 25th minute of the Impact's 3-1 victory Saturday.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Gershon Koffie was suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount for endangering the safety of Seattle Sounders FC midfielder Andy Rose in the 91st minute of their game Saturday.

Koffie was also fined an additional amount for making an improper gesture in the 91st minute. The suspension is Koffie's second in three games.

He missed Vancouver's previous game against FC Dallas after taking his fifth yellow card of the season.
