RIM planning mid-range BB10 device, ex-CEO Lazaridis to retire as director

Research In Motion issued its fourth-quarter financial results Thursday, reporting for the first time since it launched its make-or-break phone, the BlackBerry Z10. The company released fresh figures that stretch from the Z10's Jan. 31 launch in the United Kingdom, through the Indian launch on Feb. 25 and up until March 2.

Below is a transcript of the live event, which featured new details on geographic sales breakdowns, the expansion of the BB10 platform range to include cheaper devices, some changes to the board, projections for the next quarter sales and the arrival of the physical keyboard Q10 device in April.
