Police have released a dozen more photographs of unidentified people suspected of taking part in G20 mayhem last June, including an image of a woman alleged to have directed black-clad protestors to smash up a police minivan near Queen's Park.

The new photos join nine previously-released pictures of people police are still trying to identify.

One of the new batch shows a dark-haired woman, a black bandanna or touque resting on her head, who police accuse of instigating the Black Bloc on June 26 through vocal instructions and arm gestures.

"She's basically directing the crowds during the course of the day, directing them to certain vehicles, to certain buildings, directing them when to put on their Black Bloc clothes and when to take them off," said Detective Mike Carbone of the G20 Investigative Team.

On one occasion that afternoon, he said she encouraged protestors to go after a black police minivan sitting on College Street, east of University Avenue. The crowd attacked the vehicle with sticks, breaking open the windows and stealing a police jacket and officers' lunches from inside.

Another man, wearing a white v-neck, black baseball cap and dark glasses, is wanted for hurling a leather chair through the window of a Yonge Street furniture store, Detective Carbone said.

Police have been combing through thousands of images, some taken from surveillance cameras, some submitted by members of the public, in hopes of identifying the people responsible for breaking windows, torching police cruisers and marking walls with graffitti during the protests.

So far, the unit has arrested 22 people, many of whom were identified by the public as a result of having their photo released, Detective Carbone said.

The most recent arrests came last Friday, when Lekang Mdlongwa, 31, of Toronto was charged with arson and Ashan Ravindhraraj, 25, also of Toronto, was charged with failing to comply with recognizance and obstructing a peace officer. He had previously been charged in connection with burning a police cruiser and breaking store windows.
